Re:ignite - NEXUS Chamber Music returns to the North Shore to close the festival with a performance of works by Luigi Boccherini, Eleanor Alberga, and Arnold Schoenberg in the stunningly beautiful Winnetka Congregational Church.

Re:demption - Redemption, both personal and spiritual, is a central theme in this NEXUS festival program. From the emotional struggle and resolution in Eleanor Alberga’s world premiere work for baritone and string quartet to the transformative journey of Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht, the concert explores powerful narratives of hope and renewal. Samuel Barber’s haunting Dover Beach completes the evening with its own poignant reflection on human vulnerability.

Re:construct opens the festival with a Guarneri Hall program celebrating composers who were also distinguished performers, featuring works by cellist Luigi Boccherini, violinist Fritz Kreisler, and a brand-new violin and cello duo by cellist-composer Paul Wiancko, commissioned by NEXUS especially for this event.‍
